Be interested to know if anyone has experience of Icoms RS-BA1 Remote software?
On the surface it looks quite interesting, but as with all software it's bound to have limitations. It's Windows only, so that eliminates some of the market, but features on Win 11 look OK.
It comes with an 89 page instruction manual, which you can download from Icom Japan (and presumably Icom Australia). From what I've seen so far Japanese site seems to have more up to date information, or maybe it just comes up first on Google search.
Look forward to any feedback on the software.

Hi Craig. Great post on the software from https://roskosch.de/. This is different to the ICOM software I mentioned, but it looks a whole lot better. I think I may look into the iPad version as the display is more friendly for senior eyes.
The version costs $79.99 which I assume is US$ so about AUD $125, which is pretty good value when you look at its features. The Icom software is about AUD$150.

I thought I saw somewhere that it could use D-Star, but may have been the separate iPhone version which doesn't have waterfall feature due to screen limitations. Let me look into this issue and I'll get back to you tomorrow. I would prefer D-Star over any other feature, based on my current newbie experience.
