I thought it might be useful to share information about favourite online on the broad subject of Radio Communications, especially those which are a bit unusual. Maybe this post (and list) can grow as members post their favourite links. To start off, here's one of my favourites: Ringway Manchester Run by Lewis, M3HHY https://www.qrz.com/db/M3HHY YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@RingwayManchester/videos Facebook: https://www.youtube.com/@RingwayManchester/videos
Don't be put off by the somewhat tabloid-style title pages or thumbnails. Contains general and 'investigative' content on a wide range of radio-related topics, including Amateur Radio, Numbers Stations, commercial DMR and P25, mainstream and offbeat short-wave broadcasting, other things that generate noises on the radio spectrum (e.g. the Russian Woodpecker over-the-horizon radar). Some of it is UK-centric, but there's much that is of interest to us here in VK.
The videos are very well put together and not too long. They include a lot drone footage of radio towers and other interesting things.
Comments and other contributions welcome. 73,
Paul
