When: March 19th - March 26th;
Where: Poplars camp ground, Loch Valley Rd Via Noojee.
What: Autumn club radio camp out.
Why: coz we can.
Bring yourself, your radios and antennas, tents and what ever else you need to bring to have a thoroughly good time with a bunch of like minded peoples.
Arrive when you want. Stay as long or as little as you want. Leave when you want.
The campground has drop pit toilets, fire-pits and more importantly, large well marked out bays.
Locally Mount Baw Baw is close by. The trestle bridge is close by. There is good four wheel driving close by. There is plenty of hiking close by. There are fish in the creek. Noojee is a stones throw away and has limited groceries. More importantly it has good take away or sit down and eat food and excellent coffee.

That’s fine Phil. Come when you want. Leave when you want. Stay as long or as little as you want.

Hi Stan, small change to my dates as I want to be there to catch up with those members who work, and can only come up on weekend. I will now arrive Thursday 20-3-25, and depart Sunday 23-3-25.
No need to worry about my cooking skills as I have a bike trip up to Native Dog Flat campground up in Alpine National Park over Labour Day weekend. Going by bike means no fridge, and limited space for gear and food etc. This is why I have been investigating freeze dried and ready to go meals. Been a very interesting experience.
